About
Kris is a SSHRC Fellow and a candidate in the Communication and Culture program at Ryerson and York Universities. Before joining the program, he trained in photographic production and theory, earning a BFA in Photography from Ryerson.
His dissertation work explores the practices of several Toronto-area community arts (community cultural development) practices and practitioners to better understand the broader cultural significance of their communicative, pedagogical and organizational techniques.
