Melanie McBride is a researcher at Ryerson University’s Experiential Design and Gaming Environments (EDGE) lab and a MA candidate in York University’s joint program in Communication and Culture, where she is exploring inclusive practices and pedagogies that support autonomous informal learning and play in digitally mediated gaming and social environments. She is also presently at work on a book about the ‘hidden’ and ‘null’ curriculum of 21 Century learning.
